What to expect
We want you to feel at ease and at home at our company right from your first day. It is important for us that you also continue to feel this way, which is why we offer you the following:
Start | A good start is like a first impression – there’s no second chance. So we will do all we can to give you a successful start. Before your first working day, your assigned partner will contact you to give you details of your first project. To find out all about mm1, we will invite you to visit our office in Stuttgart. Then you will ideally start your first project. You might be thrown in at the deep end at first, but the life-saver will always be in sight and within reach. We won’t leave you on your own.
Projects and assignments | Our projects and assignments are highly varied – from innovation management in mobile telecommunications and IT project management in the world of IPTV, through to the boosting of sales in the financial services industry. You will plan suitable projects and topics with your assigned partner. Your tasks may include:
- Project leadership
- PMO
- Project management tasks
- Requirements management
- Program management
- Product design
- Product management
- Process design
- Implementation
- Development of (IT) strategies and concepts
At our growing consulting company, you will have the chance to deliver peak performances in projects, as well as to make an active contribution to the company’s growth and develop the mm1 portfolio. You can take a topic that you really care about to market maturity, for example. To do this, you will need to design a procedure, publicize it by writing articles, and finally take responsibility for the marketing and acquisition of customers.
Development | In the consulting industry, we always have to stay one step ahead of our customers, which means that personnel development is essential. We want to encourage the potential of each and every employee. As well as learning during your daily work by carrying out varied tasks, projects, and new challenges, you may also attend specific internal and external training courses. This is arranged with your partner as part of the management process.
Management | At mm1, management is multi-faceted. For us, personal contact, plenty of discussions, openness, and trust are extremely important. At the beginning of each year, we set the goals for the coming business year with your assigned partner, including your capacity, acquisition performance, as well as familiarization with new topics, and article writing. Halfway through the year, we hold a review session to look at and adapt these goals if necessary. At the end of the year, we determine how many of your goals you have achieved. Appraisal interviews are an important part of this process. They help to encourage communication and maintain close contact. In addition, you will have plenty of chances to exchange information with the managers on an informal basis.
Events | To make sure that you have the opportunity to network, get to know your colleagues and have fun, the whole company meets at least three times a year for two to four days. We would be happy to tell you more about this in person.
